Fuck yeah! After some tinkering around firewall and Firefox Hulus geo-blocking is no more. And that’s without proxies or VPNs. Not that I couldn’t get stuff anyway, but still its nice to have it. All thanks to reddit.
In short it involves spoofing header so that Hulu thinks your from the great US. Basically how you do it is like this:
- Get this addon for Firefox.
- Set it up like this.
- Block outgoing UDP and TCP port 1935 in Windows firewall.
- Now block outgoing TCP port 80 for following ip addresses: 206.33.62.126, 198.78.201.126, 207.109.221.177 and 207.109.221.184. Also ping hulu.cust.footprint.net and block that ip as well, if it’s not one of those.
Lastly clear your cookies and you should be good to go.

Werewolf Bar Mitzvah30 Rock (Original TV Soundtrack)
[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]Tracy Jordan’s “Werewolf Bar Mitzvah” reminding us why 30 Rock and its soundtrack is great. Non-remix version, by the way.
On an FYI side note - Donald Glover (Troy from Community) has credits on this one. Fuck yeah!
So, thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow, the Most Perfect Person in the World guest staring I finally caved in and gave Glee a shot. And… it was exactly the what I thought it would be. Mediocre, sickeningly PC and sweet, tied down in stereotypes, and thanks to some characters mildly annoying (yes Jane Lynch, you). By no means the epitome of bad, except horribly overautotuned songs, but I’ll pass. As I don’t see how it will keep things fresh and interesting for much longer, or for that matter, how it did this far, but ill refrain from such conclusions.
So, the search for new series to fill now empty Tuesdays continues. But now I think I’ll watch Shakespeare in Love.
Btw, does anyone remember Danny from Mad Man, with his cure for the common everything?^^
